Project Description:

Our client is the online investment bank based in Switzerland.

Project is a Web based application platform that provides equities and derivatives trading services along with comprehensive analytics and visualization.

Regular Fullstack Developer should have good knowledge (theory and practice) in core technologies used and have at least theoretical knowledge on others two / three. (S)he should be also able to explain how aspects of agile methodologies are used in the project life cycle. (S)he should be able to suggest other frameworks/solutions that can be used to improve the current development work flow and technology stack. That's why Communication and Analytical skills are marked as Top priority and hence should be addressed first on TI.

Interviewers must check code challenge task on the interview.

The team will have to work on new project/platforms/plugins with all the latest frontend stack (REACT/TS, react router, REDUX, npm/yarn) in near future.

We're looking for a Regular Fullstack Developer, with confirmed backend experience and desire to learn and work with modern Web UI technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in meetings with customer
• Requirement refinement, sprint planning and task estimations;
• Applications development;
• Developing unit/integration tests/automation UI tests;

Skills:

• Java core, Java 8 features (min experience 2 years)
• OOP/OOD knowledge, design patterns;
• TDD, BDD notion, Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
• Spring framework, IOC, MVC;
• RESTfull services
• Servlets, application servers (e.g. Tomcat, Resin);
• SQL knowledge, any RDBMS (Oracle is a plus);
• HTML, CSS, Javascript on intern-junior level, readiness to work with and improve skills in UI is a must (min basic exp 6 month);
• Good written and spoken English, with proven ability to communicate ideas and to design and document artifacts in a clear and concise way.

Additional Skills / Knowledge (optional):

• Experience in finance/banking is a good plus;
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Docker, Vagrant) is a plus
• Unix administration experience;
• Maven and Distributed SCM (GIT, Mercurial);
• CI tools experience is a good plus.
