Project Description:

Luxoft is staffing the teammates for an exciting project developing all-round e-commerce cloud-based system that allows brands and retailers to optimize multi-channel selling operations, draw new customers and increase sales. We are looking for proactive BA capable to drive product team activities and taking full responsibility for the product team as Product Owner. The team is located both in Kiev (6 devs and 5QAs) and in Pasadena, LA (2 devs and all business lines). As the starting point in the project Business trip to Pasadena is expected at least for 3 months or so.

Responsibilities:

- Analyse and document customer requirements and business process;
- Perform functional gap analysis with respect to standard product offerings;
- Prepare specifications for Development;
- Assist in the management of customer's technical expectations;
- Confirm and negotiate functional specifications upon activation of a project;
- Define and agree with delivery and client a testing regime that defines exit criteria for user acceptance testing;
- Development project by ensuring customer requirements are delivered as per their specification with respect to being involved in the development process;
- Manage scope creep via agreed change request process;
- Provide technical hands-on expertise where needed;
- Continuously refresh knowledge of products. Analyse, assess, develop, devise, plan, negotiate and present modern implementations for client sites;
- Provide guidance for solution designers to scope site implementations;
- Ensure highest level of quality is achieved within assignments at all times;
- Provide guidance / mentoring to other business analysts in order to improve the knowledge and skills within the team.

Skills:

∙ E-commerce experience
∙ Excellent communication skills in fluent English
∙ Experience in reviewing functional and non-functional requirements (including requirements for systems that interface through programmatic API)
∙ Experience working in Scrum SDLC
∙ Experience in preparation of technical documentation (functional requirements, design specifications, data mapping documents)
∙ Experience in software engineering or quality assurance is a plus
∙ Participation in large projects is a plus
