Вакансія Senior Teacher Young Learners

The British Council in Kyiv is looking for Senior Teacher Young Learners to play an active role as a member of the teaching centre management team and to contribute to the continuous development of the teaching centre. The post holder will be responsible for the overall quality of our Young Learner courses, ensuring that the teaching team have the resources, professional support and appropriate training to deliver quality in the classroom.

The post holder will be responsible for overall academic quality management of our Young Learner programme which includes line management of the YL Coordinator and teachers, Child Protection lead for Ukraine, training and development of teachers, quality assurance as per TQS standards for all provision of Young Learner products.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

• Course and lesson planning level 2
• Subject knowledge level 2
• Understanding your learners level 2
• Classroom management level 2

Experience

Essential:

• Experience of teacher training and/or mentoring or coaching

Desirable:

• Line management

Qualifications

Essential:

• DELTA or equivalent
• CELTYL or equivalent
• IELTS band 8 (done in the last 5 years), CPE, or a degree from an English speaking University

Desirable:

• MA in ELT or similar
• IH ELT Management diploma or similar
