THE ROLE: IT Support Specialist

Job Description:

• Provide first level support to customers' requests
• Perform diagnostics of customer issues
• Configure and maintain computers, POS terminals, fiscal printers, servers, peripherals, handheld terminals and networking equipment in retail stores
• Support new store openings, functionality enhancements and upgrades
• On site diagnose, repair and upgrade software as necessary
• Refer customer issues to upper level support when necessary
• Ensure accurate documentation of all calls handled
• Collaborate on local and global project

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of helpdesk support experience is a must;
• Support experience on POS systems will be a plus

Professional Know-How:

• English (both written and verbal) intermediate level
• Strong knowledge of Windows server/client operating systems, PC hardware and network equipment
• Strong knowledge of basic infrastructure services (Directory Service, DNS, DHCP, File Servers)
• Knowledge of Cisco equipment will be a plus
• Knowledge of SQL at the level of building complex queries
