and sell-side organisations..

Responsibilities:

• Drive the detailed technical design and implementation of the solution;
• Develop proof of concepts when appropriate;
• Understand how to use a variety of technologies appropriately to build enterprise solutions;
• Manage team's deliverables as a Team Lead and Scrum Master;
• Partner with the appropriate engineering and operations teams to facilitate successful deployments.
• Implement development best practices in the team;
• Perform code reviews to ensure the implementation is maintainable, supportable, resilient and performance.
• Mentor and develop local technical team members including reviewing technical deliverables;
• Participate in development tasks as required.
• Communicate to people at multiple levels from developers to senior management;
• Participate in project planning;
• Be responsible for team commitments;
• Ensure proper communication and reporting to the customer.

Skills:

Mandatory:

• Extensive technical experience and development expertise in Core Java experience, including JAVA 8, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate (3+)
• Experience in build general web service architecture, Rest API
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile, Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Working as a Team Lead (up to 6 people), experience managing the delivery of software projects (1+)
• SQL

Nice to have:

• Experience in working as a Scrum Master
• Experience with dependency management and build tools such as Gradle, Maven, Ant and Ivy
• UNIX, Linux & Shell scripting experience
• Working experience in the Financial Services Industry
