As being online retailer, having detail product content is very important to enhance data quality of our product data catalog. To improve our product data quality, we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter Photo editor Specialist to join our Web Content department.

You will be working closely with our web development / data architecture team, creating crawlers and data extractors that will gather the information for our data processing team, making them available our site to provide detail products information to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the editor and the team members to identify photography needs
• Assign projects to photographers and keep track of the deadlines
• Review photos, edit and make necessary changes
• Decide which images to publish
• Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication
• Manipulate photos to achieve highest quality using the appropriate tools
• Liaise with editors, photographers and advertising reps and advise on future projects
• Stay up to date with new image editing technologies

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a photo editor
• 2+ years of experience in photo editing, preferably in e-commerce
• Solid experience with digital technology and photo editing software packages (e.g. Photoshop, Pixlr and Affinity Photo)
• Strong photo editing skills and excellent portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, photographic techniques, studio management and color composition
• Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills
• Time-management and leadership skills
• Experience shooting still life and/or portraiture, and in graphic design preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite software, especially Photoshop. Strong image editing skills in color-correction; selection and compositing, image sizing, batch processing and photo-manipulation are particularly important.
• An ability to work independently and in collaboration with others to identify the best means of illustrating a large volume of stories with a quick turnaround.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
