GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Senior Android Engineer (Security) to join its Kyiv office.

Our Client is the top Tier-1 company in the automotive world. Project goals are software implementation for Client infotainment hardware platform intended to be used in mass production car/vehicle market.

SW platform: Android 8.1 (O-MR1)

HW platform: Snapdragon 820a (MSM8996)

The scope of the project includes SW design preparing, implementation, integration and maintenance phases with following to modern industry standards for development processes in the automotive segment (Automotive SPICE) and Agile (SCRUM).

Right now we are looking Senior Software Developer who will be involved in Security part of the Android.

Requirements

• C/C++ development in UNIX/POSIX and Android/Android NDK environment;

• Good understanding multithreading;

• Bash;

• Debugging;

• Profiling;

• Linux knowledge;

• Documentation development;

• English - upper intermediate.

Preferences

Experience in C, Security.

Responsibilities

• Implementing customer specific requests;
• Replacing software modules with hardware accelerated modules;
• Development of new features and POC;
• Bug fixing in Android specific/customer code on OS level;
• Porting customer specific code to new Android versions;
• HAL development;
• Tuning Android performance.
