Our Client, a multinational FMCG company, has open a position of

Intercompany Accountant

Functional responsibilities:

1. Accounting and processing of operations with intercompany and other foreign suppliers for goods and services:

• Ensure correct processing of the factory invoices
• Ensure correct posting of customs clearance, veterinary control, customs broker, insurance, customs terminal processing to avoid issues with customs and tax regulations
• Ensure correct booking of freight-in logistics, which is essential for the proper cost of goods sold calculation
• Support the process of preparation documents for proper booking, reporting and payment of service charges from other companies of the Group

2. Be responsible for the periodic reconciliation of the balances due with factories, for investigation of any differences and discrepancies

3. Ensure proper process management and posting in the system of other sales (not goods related) (pallets, fixed assets, sales of services, etc.)

4. Ensure proper document flow for all inventory transactions (internal movements, inventory write off and utilization, physical inventory counts). Be responsible for the calculation of the net result for physical inventory counts, ensure correctness of the primary documentation from the accounting and tax perspective (together with logistics)

5. Actively participate in the periodic closing and balance sheet accounts reconciliation process

Professional requirements:

• Completed higher education ( Accounting / Audit /Economics)
• 3+ years of experience in an international company as an intercompany accountant
• Excellent numeric and analytical skills
• English – intermediate.
• Good experience with an ERP /accounting system other than 1-C
