Вакансія Marketing Manager

The British Council, the UK's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, is recruiting a full-time Marketing Manager who will be actively managing and using our market insights, trends, competitor analysis, customer behaviour patterns and other relevant market data contributing to the shaping of our marketing strategy in Ukraine. She or he will be managing its implementation and working closely with programme teams during the planning process making sure our KPIs and impact targets are met or exceeded summarising and analysing that impact during the evaluation stage.

This post takes a special focus on our digital initiatives, making sure they are completely aligned with our regional and corporate strategy, achieves meaningful engagement with our target audiences using various channels that are managed directly by our Digital Marketing Co-ordinator and sets our digital and digital partnership strategies for Ukraine.

Main opportunities/challenges for this role:

• Own and manage market insights and trends ensuring they are actively contributing to our market-led approach that results in relevant and responsive portfolio of programmes and services.
• Implement our marketing strategy in Ukraine so that we understand our markets completely, engaging with the right audiences and identifying partners who share our vision and values.
• Manage the planning process in Ukraine working as a trusted business partner to programme areas.
• Establish, understand and expand the key audiences and markets for the British Council's existing and planned cultural relations work in Ukraine and evaluate the impact of our work with these audiences and markets.
• Own and deliver digital strategy for Ukraine that achieves a large-scale impact of meaningful and interactive engagement with our core target audiences.
• Be an active part of our wider marketing network sharing the best practice and applying learnt points from the entire network.

Role Specific Knowledge, Experience and language requirements:

Essential

• Minimum of three years' experience in an international marketing environment.
• Proven experience of managing a team to meet demanding targets. Excellent writing and communication skills
• A proven ability to write communications materials in English to recognised professional standards.
• University degree or professional qualification in marketing and communications or a matching professional experience in the field.
• Excellent written and spoken English, Ukrainian and Russian language skills at Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) C1 level

Desirable

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, e.g. marketing and communications and business studies.
• Proven track record of creating and successfully implementing larger scale marketing strategies.
• Near-native level of English.
