Our Client is looking for an experienced, go minded aviation professional to start up and run a new technical office to be opened in Kiev, Ukraine.

You will assume the overall responsibility for the start up and day to day running of the Continuing Airworthiness Management and Part 145 production planning functions office in Kiev. The position requires close cooperation with the Danish office and will report to the NPH of the CAMO.

Using your knowledge of business in Kiev and background in aviation your first task will be to source office space and make agreements with local suppliers of utilities, IT and standard office supplies as required to run a successful office. Once up and running you will work on hiring personnel to fill technical support roles to support both our CAMO and Part-145 activities in Denmark and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Office management and administration, ensuring the
• Daily management of CAMO/P145 office organization and staff
• Ensure that CAME/MOE company procedures are complied with
• Ensure that any aircraft under management is aligned with AMP requirements
• Keep organization updated on EASA and NAA requirements
• Ensure modifications, repairs and defects are approved and performed ore rectified to an approved standard
• Ensure that SB’s and AD’s are appropriately planned for application at operator or CAMO convenience where applicable
• Reporting of any relevant occurrence in accordance with CAME procedures
• Manage available manpower to fulfill CAMO and P145 requirements
• Manage the relationship with approved part 145 maintenance contractors for the CAMO
• Ensure that all maintenance is performed in a timely manner by an appropriate approved maintenance organization and in accordance with the approved AMP

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience and knowledge in the following areas:

• Business start and management in Ukraine
• Experience in a CAMO and/or Part 145 production planning
• Detailed knowledge of EASA 1321/2014 and ability to understand, interpret and apply these requirements
• Knowledge of EASA 216/2008 Basic Regulation and EASA 965/2012 Air Operations
• Good working knowledge of aircraft registry processes
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft records and Log Books, maintenance and airworthiness data
• Understanding the Airworthiness Review process
• Experience with turboprop and jet aircraft and applications
• Management of smaller departments (2 to 6 FTE’s) onsite and/or remote locations
• Good understanding of Lessor/Lessee market
• Excellent skills in English language, spoken and written
• Demonstrate good communications skills
• Strong IT skills
