At the Hannover Fairs in the past years, we’ve demonstrated and impressed audiences with futuristic manufacturing solutions capable of handling lot size 1 for personalized products. We are also a global organization with a highly motivated development team based out of Germany, USA, India, China & Ukraine.Having a sophisticated E2E solution for discrete manufacturing, our objective is to extend our offering for Process Manufacturing based on the current assets in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud. To augment this new program, we are looking for experienced product owners with interest and experience in manufacturing. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who will be defining and shaping the new solution, working closely with peers & stakeholders within LoB Manufacturing and other business units and network inside and outside SAP.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSDigital Manufacturing is a fast-growing LoB, and the Product Owner should fulfill the following responsibilities:Take over the ownership for scenarios relevant for the process industriesDefinition of end to end scenarios / processesDefinition of high-level backlog itemsClose collaboration with the development teams & architects to ensure “in-time” and “high-quality” developmentsGet inspired and inspire colleagues in a high-performance cross-team for Cloud based solution deliverySupport of events, conferences, and other customer-facing activitiesEngagement with Solution Management and other stakeholdersCommunication and information exchange with other development teams in Manufacturing, PLM, EAM, QM, IoT and other adjacent areasEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESBusiness savvy and ability to understand customer-value drivers and customer prioritiesFamiliar with customer view and understand the advantages of end to end integrated scenariosExperience in defining and shaping of new applications “Know how” in Manufacturing and Process Industries would be very beneficialExcellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skillsExperience in cloud development would be goodUnderstanding and practice of SCRUM methodologyMinimum of 6+ years overall professional experienceUniversity degree, MBA or equivalent experiencePREFERRED SKILLSTeam player & Good communication skillsCapability to handle multiple tasks in parallelPrior experience as Architect or Project ManagerCertifications in SAP Manufacturing/Supply Chain or equivalent industry degree/certificationFluent in EnglishPlease apply using the link provided.
