Digital Manufacturing Development Organization is providing innovative end-to-end solutions to run manufacturing operations in efficient, flexible and robust way. As a unit within SAP Products & Innovations, we build innovative applications for manufacturing, leveraging the newest technical capabilities. Industry 4.0 is just not a buzzword for us! At the Hannover Fairs in the past years, we’ve demonstrated and impressed audiences with futuristic manufacturing solutions capable of handling lot size 1 for personalized products. We are also a global organization with a highly motivated development team based out of Germany, USA, India, China & Ukraine.Having a sophisticated E2E solution for discrete manufacturing, our objective is to extend our offering for Process Manufacturing based on the current assets in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud. To augment this new program, we are looking for experienced developers with interest and experience in manufacturing. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who will be building the new solution, working closely with stakeholders within LoB Manufacturing and other business units.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSDigital Manufacturing is a fast-growing LoB, and the Developers should fulfill the following responsibilities:Develop in agile modeDevelopment of good quality & usable software using web development technologies like HTML5, UI5, Fiori, jQuery, CSS, ODATA and JavaScriptCoordinate with UX experts and prototypesWork closely with Architects & POsParticipate in design thinking workshop and build rapid proto types for customersCommunication and information exchange with other development teams in Manufacturing, PLM, EAM, QM, IoT and other adjacent areasEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESGood understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologiesKnowledge and hands on experience in cloud applicationsExperience in different browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla) and related debugging toolsWorking experience with and/or developing Java, Spring Boot, REST API based systemsUnderstanding of UI authorization conceptsMinimum of 4+ years overall professional experience Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent experiencePREFERRED SKILLSTeam player, Good communication skillsCapability to handle multiple tasks in parallelGood knowledge on oData services or prior experience of developing oData servicesFluent in EnglishPlease apply using the link specified.
