International Corporate Tax and M&A Tax group is part of KPMG Tax & Legal department. We assist investors in identifying, assessing and quantifying historic tax risks for the companies, which the investors consider acquiring. We advise on how the identified historic tax risks for such companies can affect the deal price as well as whether and how these tax risks may be addressed before and/ or after the deal to ensure maximum protection of the investors. We also develop and advise on tax efficient structures for our clients to acquire/ sell Ukrainian businesses and repatriate profits from Ukraine.

Our main services include:

• buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence;
• tax structuring advice;
• tax modelling;
• assistance in drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements (SPA);
• post-acquisition tax advisory.

Apart from the deal assistance, we also provide the following services:

• international and local corporate tax advisory;

What you will do:

• as a Senior Consultant, you will work full time in a team under the supervision of a Manager. Based on your experience and knowledge, you will initially focus on the following tasks:
• supervising a team of tax consultants and/ or interns;
• analysing all aspects of accounting records, tax reportings and primary documents of the Ukrainian companies;
• preparing tax deliverables;
• participating in the client meetings and conference calls.

Based on the experience that you will have acquired, you will gradually take a more responsibility on the client engagements, including establishing and maintaining relations with the clients.

What you should have:

• university Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting and Audit or Taxation;
• strong knowledge of accounting (Ukrainian National Standards and/ or IFRS);
• strong knowledge of the Ukrainian tax legislation;
• at least 3 year of accounting/ financial/ tax experience (experience within Big4 or other consulting companies will be a plus);
• good command of spoken and written Russian, Ukrainian and English;
• strong analytical skills;
• ability to work on multiple tasks and learn fast;
• strong communicative skills;
