Our client, international agrarian company is announcing an opening a position:

HSE ​Shift-Supervisor

(Plant is located 100 km from Kiev)

Scope of the Role:

• Lead and control the Emergency Response Team during Emergency situations
• Support and advise local site management in the implementation, follow-up and coordination of different HSE​​ ​Programs, Policies and Procedures
• Monitor and take actions, to ensure compliance with local and corporate HSE​​ ​regulations
• Work in a 4 Shift-Supervisor Shift System on a 24 hours / shift base

Responsibilities:

• Advice and support the site leadership in all HSE​​ ​matters. Interact on a daily base with Shift-Leads, guards and workers to ensure their full support and understanding to our ESH programs, goals and objectives
• Help in continuous Improve of the Environmental, Safety and Health performance at the site, reducing/eliminating recordable incidents
• Work closely with HSE​​ Manager to accomplish objectives articulated in the HSE​​ ​roadmap for the site/region
• Work in a 4 Shift-Supervisors shift scheme as first line of escalation for Intervention team in case of emergency situations
• Take the lead in the execution of the ERT tasks and responsibilities
• Analyze and report all ERT activities during emergency situations
• Be the Emergency representative in case of communication to external emergency services
• Together with ERH-Coordinator will be responsible in coordination of all ERT equipment, materials and procedures
• Control the operations/activities regarding Work Permit activities
• Will audit adherence to issued Permit-to-Work and perform contractor safety observation rounds
• Recognize, keep track and report unsafe situations (incident reporting)
• Perform ERT audits on regular intervals, organize and analyze ERT drills and develop/implement new policies/guidelines based on the output from these

Requirements:

• Expertise in HSE ​subjects
• Intermediate level of English
• Good PC knowledge
• Ability to analyze complex emergency situations and act in a constructive and rational way
• Stress resistant, social, constructive, accurate, communicative
• Good trainer skills
