Candidate will be responsible for matters relating to Finance and company performance in the country and will work closely with the CFO as an added value to the effectiveness of the financial department and to additional contribution to the rest of the operational departments.

Mandatory requirements for candidates:

  • Complete higher economic education (full-time);
  • Knowledge of accounting and IFRS at the highest level;
  • Work experience as an accountant/auditor - more than 5 years;
  • Experience of working in SAP;
  • Advanced user of 1С (version 8);
  • Knowledge of tax accounting, currency legislation, foreign economic activity;
  • Knowledge of English – above intermediate.

Additional requirements:

  • Experience in shipping business will be a big advantage;
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing policies, experience in preparing TP documentation;
  • Knowledge of management accounting;
  • Knowledge of HR records management;
  • Knowledge of information technology.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Elaborate and maintain an appropriate internal control environment with cost reduction driven in all areas;
  • Report in a timely manner to CFO regarding all new relevant points in terms of profitability, cash flow, conflicts of interests, cost reduction etc.;
  • Ensure the accounts are always up to date and reflective of the directions;
  • Constantly analyze changes in the legislative framework and ensure the preparation of a regulatory framework for the implementation of new / non-standard operating procedures;
  • Follow-up on audits and to ensure the implementation of all its recommendations;
  • Analyze and search for ways of optimization and automation of operational processes;
  • Optimize tax structure with responsibilities of adherence to international Transfer Pricing guidelines;
  • Monitor and verify the status of the tax accounting for the timely submission of the VAT declaration;
  • Control the completeness and timeliness of registration of tax invoices;
  • Respond to the bank currency control requests and other government authorities;
  • Review and verify the correctness of the currency control report;
  • Process data for the preparation of the Transfer Pricing Report;
  • Monthly internal management reporting.

In addition to these, Candidate will have the ability to quickly built relationships with teams based at our HQ in Geneva but also with all the operational departments in the country. Candidate will be someone who takes initiative to bring recommendations and solutions for the benefits of the company. Candidate will be strategic, quick and innovative in his way of thinking.

Required qualities: responsibility, reliability‚ energy, accuracy, ability to multitask‚ ability to cooperate‚ modesty. Willingness to travel.

Working conditions:

  • full employment and social package as per Labor Code;
  • mode of operation – from 8.30 till 17.30;
  • probation period – 3 months.
