The British Council, a leading international cultural organisation, is recruiting a full-time General Assistant / Driver, whose main duty is to provide the British Council Ukraine with high quality driving services and Corporate Services department with general administrative assistance services. The post holder will report to the Logistics Coordinator and will be expected to work closely with all British Council departments and business units.
Role Qualifications and Language RequirementsMinimum / essential
- Fluent Ukrainian and Russian
- Basic knowledge of communication in English, both written and verbal (to A1 level)
- Valid driving license of B and D1 categories
- Minimum 5 years of latest proven safe driving experience
Desirable
- English to B1 level
Role Specific Knowledge and Experience
Minimum / essential
- Technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and servicing
- Skills in minor vehicle repair
Desirable
- Experience in procurement and administrative positions of min 1 year
- Experience of working in an international organization or company
Role Specific Skills
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft office software
