We search for R&D Manager with strong knowledge and working experience in:

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Create and provide the investigations, analysis, demos and prototypes and other materials required for successful work “on-demand” of Engagement team (pre-sale, Inception and partially Elaboration Phase)

·      Build dynamic project teams from Free Development Resource Pool to complete the tech. support for Engagement process

·      Coordinate and perform the qualification selection for R&D dynamic team staffing

·      Participate and support the “face-to-face” client meetings (on-site and off-shore) and conference calls to successfully present the company best practices, technology skills and available experience, collect initial client requirements and understand client business needs for successful further engagement “on-demand” from Engagement Team

·      Build and maintain standard R&D models for primary directions requested by Engagement and according to strategic company goals

·      Generate innovations for improvement of the processes, practices, project environments and tools, collaborate with PMG for formalization, documentation and availability company wide

·      Keep track on technological trends worldwide, offshore market, outsourcing conditions and expectations related to technologies, practices, methodologies

·      Coordinate the short-time trainings, fastest technological understanding and involvement into tech support for engagement process, collaborate with Competence Office

·      Provide “on-demand” service support of on-going request handling, including technology or methodology issues identification and weaknesses, provide the recommendations to improve and how to tailor the on-going development process, mitigate the possible risks together with Engagement

·      Work independently within broad guidelines set by R&D Director and VP, Technologies

Education:

·         Master degree in Computer Science or similar

·         Business, marketing, management education (Desirable)

Specialized knowledge:

·         Understanding of software research methodologies

·         Understanding of world IT markets and technologies trends

·         Understanding of Technologies and Software Engineering paradigms

·         Understanding of general management and research project management

·         Understanding of building high-performance dynamic teams

 Skills & Abilities:

·         English upper intermediate level or higher (must)

·         Russian language level - proficiency (must)

·         French and German languages (optional)

·         Ability to get valuable result in shortest terms, result orientation

·         Ability to persuade the research goals

·         Deep analytical skills

·         Research management skills (setting clear objectives and requirements, managing priorities, tasks triage as of current needs and deadlines)

·         Self-management, time-management and self-organization skills

·         Research, investigation and software analysis tools knowledge

·         Multi-tasking and effectiveness

·         Ability to be flexible in technology usage

·         Initiative and pro-active skills

·         Good leadership and teambuilding skills
