About the job

The challenging position of Sales and Supply Support Leader (SSS Leader) will be to ensure that there is a consistently high and stable availability of product range for all our customers and at the lowest possible cost, by:

• ensuring that the supplying process in the city shop is fully integrated with the communication and selling processes; • securing excellence in the area of availability, balancing range & space, forecasting and ordering in the city shop;
• ensuring an efficient logistics operation in the city shop;
• providing an efficient service operation for customers who request alternative options for picking and/or delivery of products;
• securing that retail logistics integrates the supplying process into the retailing business.

About the assignment

Your tasks will include:

• actively working to secure and maintain the availability of goods in accordance to commercial planning;
• monitoring that the agreed range is offered, stocked and properly administered in the city shop in order to maximize availability for our customers;
• securing range vitality for our customers together with the partners in commercial team;
• working with your team to support the commercial team with planning and implementation of sales plans (e.g. activities);
• being responsible for securing that the operational forecasting in the city shop is in line with available capacities;
• communicating on any structural supply deviations threatening availability or city shop operations;
• contributing to maximizing the goods flow efficiency by ensuring that the operational forecasting in the city shop is in line with relevant parameters;
• actively involving in creation of the city shop business plan and business plan goals;
• ensuring all in-store sales & supply support initiatives grow our business and support the sustaining of long-term profitability;
• leading, teaching and inspiring people in order to grow overall team knowledge and skills;
• identificating, recruiting and developing the many talents in the city shop, specifically in your team, to secure succession planning.

Your profile

• understand budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business;
• understand sales steering and how to optimise store capacity and secure availability;
• ability to manage a high-volume and vibrant retail environment;
• skilled to work with an action plan and translate it into operational performance;
• experience of working in a retail and/or logistics role, including previous experience of leading and managing a team, preferably gained in retailing and/or logistics;
• experienced in creating and implementing short-term plans and following up goals;
• ability to set and implement action plans and provide clear direction and follow up goals. Show the potential to apply tactical and operational thinking.
• ability to reflect and find value and ideas in collaborating with others;
• high level of analytical skills;
• good numerical skills;
• ability to communicate in English.
