Purpose of the Position

The Business Development / Marketing / PR Manager of CMS-RRH will support the firm across the fields of marketing, PR and business development in Ukraine.

Key responsibilities

Marketing

• Develop, produce and maintain marketing collateral e.g. brochures, presentations, leaflets, etc.
• Track and analyse opportunities for event marketing and sponsorships
• Manage the legal directory submission process
• Track and analyse market trends and conduct a regular review of relevant legal rankings and any other competitive data available and of the firm’s positioning/achievements versus its competitors
• Coordinate the firm’s memberships at professional associations
• Coordinate the maintenance and regular update of the firm’s CRM system

PR and Communications

• Ensure regular and meaningful production and media placement of content in line with the firm’s key strategic messages
• Coordinate media-relations
• Assess and evaluate media coverage Coordinate the firm’s exposure across social media

Business Development

• Track opportunities to develop new business and ensure that such opportunities are followed-up
• Assist in producing client proposals, responding to RFPs, and preparing tender documents, as it might be required
• Coordinate the firm’s participation in business development events in Ukraine and abroad
• Coordinate the firm’s relations with CMS external offices worldwide

Strategy

• Contribute to the development of the firm’s marketing and PR strategy and action plan
• Formulate, review and update the firm’s key communications messages

• Develop the annual marketing budget

Key Requirements

• Degree educated
• Knowledge of the legal services or professional services industry
• Ability to build good working relationships with media, clients and internal teams
• Strong and efficient writing and communication skills with a keen eye for quality control (including proofreading, quality checking, imagery and design)
• Extremely proficient computer skills, including all MS Office software as well as knowledge of current digital and social media – other skills will be considered a plus
