The plant of the production water heaters and electric convectors (a division of an international company), announces a competition for the position of Chief Accountant in Odessa

Company offer:

- Fixed working schedule: five days per week from 8:00 until 16:45;

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Manage Accountants and if necessary replace them in order to get reliable (financial, accounting, fiscal) statements and provide financial analyses within the Financial HQ deadline;

- Insure fair, accurate and regular bookkeeping;

- Provides State and Local Administrations with all mandatory regular declarations, statistics reports and statements, in order to meet fiscal and legal obligations;

- Supervise the realization of monthly closing in order to enable cost control to analyze the factory own performance and to have an efficient budget control;

- Manage the quarterly consolidated statutory closing process (interco, stock valuation, COS calculation, bridging with French GAAP, trial balance);

- Control the transfer prices process (adjustment, report, documentation);

- Maintain exhaustive supply of the Information System and guarantee the reliability of the management data board;

- With Cost control Dpt, set up the annual budget and the mid-year review;

- Be the local representative with the IT department in order to support the evolution of Group Management tools and more specifically during ERP set up;

- Support and if necessary train and control users in order to guarantee the correct use of Group tools;

- Pro-active about fiscality changes to anticipate consequences (local or group level) and propose adapted organization

Requirements

- Work experience on production enterprise at the position of Chief Accountant;

- English – upper intermediate, readiness to pass an interview in English;

- French will be predominantly;

- Thorough knowledge of accounting process (incomes statement, balance sheet, IFRS);

- Certificates - ACCA or CIPA;

- Skilled in fiscality and comfortable with legal approach;

- Comfortable with IT tools (1C Production V8.3, SAP - optional);

- Sense of organization and responsibility, respect of process and rules, ability to argue his/her decisions, flexibility, responsiveness;

- Proactive person, ability to oversee, to organize, to respect deadline and priorities

- Interpersonal skills: ability to listen, tactfully, understanding, patience, simplicity and flexibility
