Project Description

ABOUT THE PROJECT

7 years summary experience in SL1-SL3 (administration & support), system upgrade, integration of following ALM Tools such as:
JIRA, Congluence, Bitbucket, Fisheye+Crucible, Bamboo, Jenkins, Jama, Coverity, Perforce, Subversion etc.

Main activities in the project:
- User Management: Account & permission management in accordance with customer policies
- Instance Management: Server and application functionality and performance configuration
- Application Management: Implementing User Stories and Customer needs and processes in Application projects and workflows
- Implementing Customer requests not covered by native Application features
- Custom plugins development
- Providing additional reporting and analysis functionality for Application data
- CI: Integration team support with system configuration and workflow scripting
- Integration logic and processes development
- IT Operation Support specific for each customer

TECHNOLOGIES USED

Lunux/Windows deep admin activities
Groovy, Java, Python, Bash (and other shell)
DB servers administration (Postgress/MySQL)

Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain the existing monitoring systems
* Fault handling and escalation (identifying and responding to faults in monitoring systems and networks, liaising with 3rd party suppliers, handling escalation through to resolution).
* Maintenance of WIKI and technical documentation (for NOC) of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
* Perform Linux/Windows installation/configurations
* Observe and maintain application/data in collaboration with IT Department
* Monitor hardware performance and stability
* Installation and deployment of new servers
* Support observation and improvement of functionality by scripts and tools
* Support and improve user administration developing scripts and tools;
* Perforce clean up operations to remove waste (outdated and outdated clients/users);
* User Support. Giving technical advice and consultation;
* Manage user permission to projects according to the given role in a project
* Various project specific application management (the list of applications depends on candidate abilities and expertize)

Skills

Must:
* Ability to work autonomous/proactive
* Administering Network Infrastructure(VPN, proxies, servers)
* Linux experience to check file system, validate functionalities on the Linux, process management and observation and measure performance
* Client-server source version control systems

as a plus:
* Perl/Bash/JAVA-script/Python knowledge and practical usage
* Database servers (Postgress/MySQL) roll-out/maintaining/mogration

Language

• English: Pre-intermediate
