Вакансія Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing team of advanced analytics products. You will be working with key stakeholders within the company to generate hypotheses, develop models and analytical products for internal and external clients.

Main responsibilities

• Develops analytics products to solve real business problems, taking account of user needs and technology and operational landscape
• Utilizes algorithmic/programming toolkit, builds predictive models to improve profitability, growth, retention and other key performance indicators for internal and external clients
• Manages and own the entire end-to-end lifecycle of designing models, works with Engineering for implementation, maintenance and enforcement
• Explains complex modeling approaches and discusses modeling results and business case impacts with non-technical business users

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of performing data analysis with Python or R scripts
• Experience of SQL databases
• Experience using ML and statistical techniques such as Time Series, SVM, Decision Trees, Bayesian methods to create scalable solutions for business problems
• Comfortable with applying statistical methods and tools
• Good presentation/communication skills
• Experience with machine learning/data-mining methods and technologies
• Able to build meaningful visualizations of results
• Experience in business environment working with large, complex datasets
• Self-motivated, independent learner, and enjoys sharing knowledge with team members
• Detail-oriented and efficient time manager in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment

Would be a plus:

• Previous experience within telco industry
• Programming/algorithmic skills with one of the following languages - Java, Scala, C++
• Familiar with implementing data transformations and algorithms in common programming languages
• Experience in Big Data Analytics landscape and technology trends (e.g. HDFS, NoSQL, Hive, Pig, Cassandra, Mahout)
• Experience in analytical tools: SPSS Modeller, SAS modelling tools
• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in quantitative fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computing and Engineering
• Professional experience in business analytics
