C++ Engineer Lead is responsible for refactoring of existing system, system architecture, team coaching, development and maintenance of the code. System under development used for automation of Taxi services in Sweden.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Designing system architecture, take responsibility on technical decisions taken.
• Planning refactoring
• Breakdown complex technical tasks, delegate to team
• Continues improvement of development environment and processes
• Technical leadership, continuously engaged and evolving the system, technical arbitration, team coaching
• Reporting to executives and product managers about progress, plans, status and risks.
• Manage Technical risks - explicit technical risk management, mitigation strategy and reporting
• Reporting to executives and product managers about progress, plans, status and risks.

Education, skills and experience:

• Must have:

• 5+ years commercial development experience with C++
• Design of system architecture, OOP/ OOD, design patterns
• Databases: PostgreSQL, ORM frameworks
• Boost
• Integration: XML, JSON, REST, SOAP
• Git
• Boost:test or gtest
• Agile development methodologies
• Team working experience

Nice to have:

• Window development (WTL, MFC)
• C++11/14/17
• Bus: Kafka, MQTT, ActiveMQ etc
• Other languages: java, python
• Web Development Experience
• Continues Integration/Continues delivery setup
• Experience in High Load applications development
